On Friday, September 30, 2022, Crisis Support Services of Alameda County (CSS) will host our Mini Golf Tournament Benefiting Crisis Support Services Youth Programs at The Golden Tee Golfland in Castro Valley, CA. Participants at the “Fairway to Wellness” tournament will tackle one of Golfland’s duo 18-hole courses, the Enchanted Journey or the Adventure Quest. The top scorer will receive the honor of wearing the Jacket of Champions!
This family-friendly event supports the youth programming at Crisis Support Services of Alameda County. We operate a 24-hour hotline, youth text line, school and community-based counseling, and also school and community-based educational presentations. All of our services are focused on reducing suicide and crisis, and improving wellness in our communities. We have been providing educational presentations throughout the county and in Castro Valley High School and Canyon Middle School, as well as schools in Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Pleasanton, Fremont and Newark. In 2020 we received more than 50,000 calls on our hotline and over 30% of our total client outreach takes place in the South County area. We are proud to have helped so many of Castro Valley area residents and neighbors.
Thanks to our generous sponsors: Body by Pam, Alameda County Firefighters Association, Eden Health District, CV Sanitation District and Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation.
