This FREE remote panel will explore what it’s like to be a volunteer on the crisis line. Monday 9/7/2020
Join us (virtually) for a month of special programming designed for community members and the helping professions — BUILDING CONNECTION AND RESILIENCE THROUGH SOCIAL JUSTICE, honoring National Suicide Prevention Month. All Panels are from 12 Noon – 1:00 pm with time for questions and answers. You will be provided a Zoom link for each session after registering for the panel.
CSS answers tens of thousands of calls a year from our neighbors who are going through a stressful time, experiencing mental health challenges, or are having thoughts of suicide. Meet the volunteers who generously give their time on CSS’ Crisis Hotline. Hear about what brought them to this role and what keeps them coming back. This is truly about neighbors helping neighbors.
The panel will be moderated by Binh Au, Crisis Line Program Director
