“A Better Understanding of Ethnic & Cultural Needs”

SPEAKER: Gigi Crowder, L.E., Ethnic Services Manager/ Cultural Competency Coordinator, Office of Health Equity, Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services (ACBHCS)

Ms. Crowder will share the work she and her colleagues and allies are promoting in Alameda County to address mental health disparities through utilizing community defined strategies. She will share opportunities for those with lived experience as consumers and family members to have their voices lifted in community stakeholder processes. There will be a Spanish translator available.

Ask questions. Express your concerns. All programs of NAMI Alameda County are free of charge to participants.

NOTE: Come to the pre-meeting at 6 pm to learn about NAMI Alameda County’s other activities and opportunities to help out – we need more volunteers! Pre-meeting is also in the Jensen Room.
