For the third year, we are excited to be holding 2024 Virtual 988 Conference: Current Approaches in Suicide Prevention for Alameda County on September 20, 2024 .  This conference will include national and local updates on the national 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and its impact on existing crisis systems, as well as sessions about specific populations such as addressing suicidality in pregnant and postpartum individuals, supporting clients by text in their moment of crisis, interventions targeted toward youth, and more.  As in year’s past, the event will be presented at no charge to the participants who come from the helping professions:  therapist, social workers, teachers and others who come in contact with at-risk populations.
